In a word, Koo is possibly recognized as a realistic artist produced by the current era. Considering constant description of the objects and motif, his works are complemented the formative form which realism aesthetic instructed one century ago.

However, there is a clear distinction between his paintings and artworks in the past. He apparently has been provided his works with an original thought by adopting materials, approaching to the view, and placing fundamental matters.
