How jealous it must be to be called the petal of jealousy? Being weak is being foolish. Bees come to white blossoms and yellow blossoms for a reason. The curtain embroidered with the patterns of anemone in white and cobalt blue on silvery silk is waving with the wisp of breeze.
얼마나 탐스러우면 질투의 꽃잎으로 불릴까. 나약해지는 건 어리석은 생각인거야. 흰 꽃, 노랑꽃에도 벌이 날아드는 건 이유가 있기 마련이지. 은빛실크 위 화이트와 코발트블루 컬러의 아네모네 꽃이 수놓인 커튼이 실바람에 가벼이 흔들리네.
Spring sunlight rushed in as through it would break open the door when I opened the windows. The sunlight created the blissful mood of light along the melody and DJ Okawari’s dreamy and brilliant piano melody, ‘Flower Dance’, led my mind to the green meadows. Water color is done with water color paint and a variety of techniques. The key is the balance between water and time, and it can become something completely unexpected when the timing is not right and a single mistaken brushstroke can disable the artist from expressing her thought the way she wanted. This makes the artist very careful and cautious. Artist KIM YOON JUNG “The fortuitous effect of water and paint depicts the emotion in a way that no words can. It is quite charming and draws me into it; I can’t stop working on it.”
수채화 작업은 수성 그림물감과 다채로운 기법으로 그린다. 물과 시간의 조화가 관건이라고 해도 과언은 아닌데 타이밍을 맞추지 못하면 의도하고자 하는 방향이 무너질 수 있고 한 번 붓질이 잘못 가면 작업자의 생각이 담긴 작품을 제대로 표현할 수 없다. 때문에 작업은 굉장히 조심스럽고 신중하다. 서양화가 김윤정은 “물과 물감의 우연적인 효과는 그 어떤 말로도 드러낼 수 없는 감성을 묘사해 낸다. 굉장히 매력적이며 몰입으로 이끌기 때문에 작업을 멈출 수 없게 한다”라고 말했다.
On the other hand, the artist tells a story of love that can be sublime, magnificent, or sometimes heartbreaking in her watercolor paintings through the harmony between myths and flowers which depicts the inspiration she had from myths in the unique world of forms. Also, the aspiration for love and the way of people and didactic stories she picked up from the myths are depicted in water color paintings that are created through the artist’s unique clear and fresh brush strokes and are mixed with each other to provide a peaceful atmosphere where the energy of warmth can be sensed.
한편 김윤정 작가는 신화(神話) 등에서 영감을 얻은 감흥을 독창적인 조형세계로 펼치는 신화와 꽃의 하모니를 통하여 때론 숭고하고 장대하며 가슴 저미는 사랑이야기들을 수채화로 풀어놓는다. 그리고 신화에서 건저올린 사랑과 인간의 길에 대한 열망과 교훈적 스토리를 작가 특유의 맑고 신선한 붓 터치의 수채화작품들이 서로 어우러져 평온한 분위가운데 따스한 온기의 에너지를 감지하게 한다.
