I wanted to capture the silence. The instant of silence, The paused moment standing between the revealed and concealed idea. I would like to discover the meaning of silence beneath the pause. The object covered by fabric stands still while only exposing a part of itself.

The powerful potential hidden behind the blank space, implies the chaotic world before existence. In the moment of pause, there is another flow of time that can not be measured. It is a time of creation as well as a time of extinction. It is a condition where all things can be reborn.

Silver, white and black is a metaphor of the newness and its infinite space. The trace exposed through frottage, identifies the boundaries between presences. Through this we are now able to expect the possibilities of a new presence that we have never imagined before.
