Since middle of 1990s, the series of ‘The Hidden Dimension’ of her art pieces has been characterized by her free style of canvas composition and the simplified, realistic description, which is denoted as a new expressionism.

The series in her early days has displayed a considerable visual effects distinguished by the intensive contrast of colors and materialistic description of motif, and thus she has represented very clear images.

However, as the time passes by, from the advent of the recent works, gradually the tones of colors have been emphasized much more on combination rather than an extremely contrasting colors, while the images in her painting has been changed into an abstract form, apart from descriptive method.

In this changes, other critics and I together have denoted that her(CHANG CHI WON,Korean painter Chang Chi-Won,ARTIST CHANG CHI WON,서양화가 장지원,장지원 작가,장지원 화백,張志瑗) paintings, some peaceful and happy impression, whispering to us with a constantly.
