When it is finally completed after a myriad of repetitions, he undergoes a feeling of catharsis and is deeply moved by it. This is a privilege that only one who does pure labor can enjoy. His work process steers far from efficiency and yet glows in this age when effectiveness is deemed virtuous in life.

Done with an unimaginably high intensity of labor in a time of extreme difficulty, his works bring about the deep essence and value of labor. He arrives at his studio located at 327, Yugok-ri, Yuga-myeon, Dalseong-gun, Daegu at ten o’clock and goes back home at six in the afternoon.
